Fitness Update


Well its been over a month since I got my new Polar Fitness Watch, and even longer since I decided that there was going to be a new me this year.

I thought I would therefore update you on the progress thus far. The process of collecting the data is easy thanks to PolarPersonalTrainer.com as it logs each of my training session keeping a running total of all the vital statistics.

So here we go…

Total Training Sessions: 20

Total Duration: 20 hours and 2 min

Total Calories: 13,912

Total Distance Traveled: 88.5 miles (142.43 km)

 

To put that into perspective, I have burned the same number of calories in:

    • 42.2 medium sized portions of MacDonald’s French Fries
    • 309.2 McVities Jaffa Cakes
    • 126.5 cans of Red Bull energy drink
    • 80.1 Cadbury’s Crème Egg
    • 146.4 average sized bananas

Distance wise, I could have travelled anywhere from my house to in the green radius:

Whats more, my clothes are fitting better, I’ve had to have had all of my suits taken in! I feel better, and (dare I say it) even look better as my total weight loss is now 17kg (2.68 Stone)!

Here’s to losing the next 13,000 calories and getting the body similar to the photoshopped version!
