It makes a change, but today im going to be heading down to London, not for an interview, but for a mini holiday with my mother, father and brother (little sis is doing summer in style as she is currently travelling round South Africa).
The plans for the weekend are perhaps a little unusual, as tomorrow, Dad, David and I will be climbing to the top of the O2 (or Millennium Dome as it was once known) which should be a fantastic experience. Sadly they don’t allow SLR’s up there, but I will be taking a small compact camera up there, so hopefully I will get some good shots.
Photography wise I will also be taking my tripod, as last summer when I went to London, I went to The Founders Arms pub, which had fantastic views of the city, but with no tripod, and no camera, I was limited with using an iPhone, getting the below shot. Hopefully with a tripod and my DSLR with me, ill be able to get a shot more like this.
On my return I will no doubt blog about the experience of climbing the O2, and post photos and videos of the experience, but if you want to see my initial thoughts before the blog post comes out, I will more than likely tweet about it, so if you are on twitter, give me a follow.
However you are spending your weekend, I hope you have a good one, and if you have time for a quick prayer, please pray for good photographic weather in London, I would very much appreciate it.
