This years birthday present from my parents was up there with the best, quite literally as it took me up, up, and away!
2 years since a holiday, and over 8 since I had been to Israel, this summer reset those clocks back to 0 as I took a well earned break to Israel for a week.
It wasn’t as fast as an Aston Martin, or explosive as shooting a gun, but this years experience day, just like the others, was an adrenaline rush, despite its lacksidasical pace.
Its always a welcome break to get away from things, especially when you have been working hard during the year, and haven’t taken any holiday off from work since September the 2nd. Therefore having a few days in beautiful Yorkshire, getting some fresh air, eating some good food and spending time with family will always go down well.
David is now 21, which means should we return to America, he can now sample the alcoholic beverages with me – how delightful!
Tis the season to do all the things which I can’t do back in Manchester, such as baking and making pretty cakes. Here are a few of the things I’ve decorated/made since being back at home.
I have finished one chapter, and one new book. After my interview on Tuesday, and a phone call yesterday, it is official, I am no longer a student, but a fully grown adult!!!
I managed to get the photographs I was after, and do something different by climbing the O2 arena – so all in all, I would say my family trip to London was a success!
Its not happened for a long time, well almost a year to be exact, but this weekend im going down to London, not for an interview, but for a mini family holiday. Its trip with a difference tho, as ill be climbing to the top of the O2!
Going to an airshow is one of those things that I think everyone has to experience. The raw or the engines, the taste of the jet fumes, and the skill of the pilots – it really is breathtaking.
