One team from the North West office of Hays, the other from Yorkshire took to the football pitch of the Etihad Stadium in aid of The Brain Tumour Charity.
Today I did something I had never done before, and that was swim in open water. Naturally I did it for charity, however the experience was fantastic, with water being a lovely 20.5°C. Here is a little post to document the morning in the open water.
Unlike the runs which I signed up to, I’m actually going to partake in the swim, therefore, yes, it means that I am fundraising. Please do donate whatever you can, I really do appreciate your donation, no value is too small.
Considering I had never heard of it until around 11 o’clock this morning, spending my afternoon in the City Centre watching this celebration of the City of Manchester, was a great way to spend a few hours.
With little information to go on, this Saturday I decided to pack my camera gear and head to MediaCityUK to view a performance by Ilotopie Theatre Company, who had come all the way from France. Their performance was one with a difference tho, it was performed on the water of the Manchester Ship Canal.
