Well we are almost there, with only three more posts after this one, the last four letters of the alphabet are naturally going to the the hardest, as we don’t tend to use words beginning with these letters in everyday language.
Thankfully my brother came to the rescue, as he sent me a video of the project which he has been working on at Aston University. David is studying engineering at university, which in layman’s turns means that he gets to play with giant meccano all day, and build things.
This term he has been building a wind turbine, over easter he was working out the maths that would help him find the perfect sized blade etc etc, and I think judging by the video it is finished.
I am not a huge fan of wind turbines as generating electricity. Personally I think they are an eye sore on the landscape, cost a fortune to build, and there are much more efficient ways of getting renewable energy.
However I think you will all agree that my brothers turbine is rather impressive!
Now my sister needs to just build/make something beginning with ‘X’, ‘Y’ or ‘Z’
